GARMENT PRESERVATION PROTOCOL

To maintain the Structural Integrity and Kinetic Memory of your silhouettes, the Atelier mandates the following care standards. Proper maintenance ensures your garment remains calibrated to your anatomical profile.

1. THE CLEANING PHASE

• Thermal Control: Utilize only cold or cool water. High temperatures set stains and induce fiber fatigue, causing silhouettes to sag or lose tension.
• Chemical Purity: Use only mild, pH-balanced detergents. 
• Prohibited: Fabric softeners and chlorine bleach, which compromise technical fibers and cause permanent staining.
• The Guard System: Always wash your silhouettes separately from standard apparel to minimize friction. For machine-sanctioned pieces, utilize a Bespoke Mesh Wash Bag to prevent mechanical damage from zippers or hardware.

3. THE RESTORATIVE PHASE (Drying)

• Zero-Tension Drying: Lay garments flat on a clean towel or drying rack. Avoid Clothespins: These create structural stress points and permanent fabric distortion.
• Anti-Friction: Never wring or twist your garments. To remove excess moisture, lightly squeeze from top to bottom.
• UV Shielding: Dry all pieces away from direct sunlight to preserve the depth of Slate Gray and Ash Black pigments.

4. ARCHITECTURAL WARNINGS

• Surface Contact: Avoid contact with rough surfaces (concrete, unfinished wood) to prevent micro-tears or pilling.
• Storage: Never store, roll, or fold a garment while damp. This creates "Atmospheric Compromise" (mold/mildew) and damages the fiber's modulus.
• Thermal Damage: Do not iron or dry clean. If restoration is needed, use a Zero-Heat Steam only.

Atelier Note: All SpiBoy silhouettes arrive Pre-Wash Calibrated and are ready for immediate inhabitation. No initial laundering is required.
